Southern Pride Service is a customer focused heating and air-conditioning company that was originated in 1993. Located in Southern Maryland, MD, serving Charles, Prince Georges, Calvert, and St. Mary’s counties. We employ highly trained technicians whose goal is to ensure our customers stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Our company specializes in designing, engineering, and installing whole home residential and commercial systems, from the ground up, and replacing existing systems. Our mission is to provide a place where the people we employ are proud of their work and their job, leaving each project done to the best of their ability. We strive to deliver an experience that is convenient and hassle free for our customers.

For residential customers, Southern Pride Service recommends twice a year. Some may look at it as a Spring and Fall check because the change in weather will cause the system to perform differently. Depending on what type of environment your system is in, our trained technicians could change their frequency recommendation to keep your system running at peak efficiency.


Once a month to sustain the efficiency of the system’s performance.


First, check that the air conditioner or heat pump is turned on. Next, check that the breakers and disconnects are turned on. Make sure the thermostat is set correctly. Then check for strange smells and unusual noises.
